About · The person behind the work
Based in India · Thinking beyond bordersCurious by nature.
Technical by practice.
I'm Anupam Shakya, a full-stack developer and postgraduate computer science researcher. I like moving between implementation and inquiry: building software, studying intelligent systems, and understanding why certain ideas work—not only that they work.
I'm drawn to the point where careful engineering meets open-ended research.
My path began with web development and grew toward the systems behind modern products: APIs, databases, architecture, performance, and the small interface decisions that make complex tools approachable.
Alongside that work, I'm developing deeper interests in AI, ML, deep learning, computer vision, and medical imaging. I'm particularly interested in research that can become dependable software rather than remaining only an impressive demonstration.
What I'm moving toward
Connected directions,
not separate identities.
Engineering
I enjoy building complete systems: interfaces that feel considered, backends that remain understandable, and products that solve a real problem.
Intelligence
My technical curiosity extends through machine learning and deep learning—especially models that can perceive, reason, and support human decisions.
Visual understanding
Computer vision and medical imaging interest me because they sit where mathematics, perception, engineering, and meaningful real-world impact meet.
Research
I want to ask better questions, design reproducible experiments, understand limitations, and communicate results without overstating what they prove.
Beyond the screen
The universe keeps the questions honest.
Space, astronomy, and cosmology remind me how much remains unknown. I'm fascinated by scale, time, consciousness, and the strange fact that matter can arrange itself into something capable of asking why it exists.
“The most exciting work usually begins where certainty ends.”
Technical range
Tools change.
Foundations compound.
I choose tools for the problem, not for the label. This is the current working surface I use to prototype, build, evaluate, and ship.
